Tariff (price) Council of the Republic of AzerbaijanIn view of the requirements of Clause 4.2 of the Decree No. 242 dated May 31, 2005 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On strengthening anti-inflationary measures in the Republic of Azerbaijan”, the Statute on Tariff Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan was confirmed following the Decree No. 341 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 26, 2005 and Tariff Council was determined as the collegial executive body implementing the state regulation of prices, service fees, collections where state regulation is applied on.The Council implements its activities guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, decisions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, international contracts the Republic of Azerbaijan is a party to and current Statute.The Council is competent to implement its activities in connection with central and local executive bodies, economic entities, local self-government bodies, as well as public organizations, establish its working groups and commissions, conduct monitoring and invite experts for their work.
