Khanyurdu barrow – There is Khanyurdu barrow monument on the area of Arabushagy village on the riverside of Aghsu, 5 km to the south from the centre of Aghsu district. Archeological investigations are very important in the monument registered for very long time ago. Its location near “Kharaba Sheher” has created different considerations between those who interested with this monument. Local inhabitant of Aghsu city Aghamahmud Mehbaliyev considers this earth hill as the guard post before historical Aghsu city was found. May be that this post was informing the guard towers in the city. And that’s why the monument was called “Khanyurdu”.
