Razin caveRazin cave is locally known as the Razin Mountain. The cave has a very interesting history. Razin’s first attack to the western coast of the Caspian Sea dates back to 1667. In 1667, Stepan Razin camped in that cave and carried out overnight attacks to surrounding villages. Later on, local people started calling the area as "Razin Mountain". This cave is located about 10 -11 km north-eastwards of Baku, in Bakikhanov settlement. The entrance’s width is 5 meters and height is 13.6 meters and the cave consists of two rooms. The first room’s length constitutes 38.4 meters and the width is 5 meters. The second room’s length is 7.9 meters and the width is 4.3 meters - 7 meters. The total area of the cave is 255.7 square meters. According to the aged people and written sources, the cave goes out to the sea by a 2-km-long branch.
