Sayyid Karim (Ahmad ibn Karim) tomb is located in Mashkhan village of Astara region. It was built with cubical stone. Its area is 3.20x4,40 meters. Its height is 2.20 meters. The inside part of the tomb consists of grave only. Sayyid Karim’s grave is located here. Sayyid Karim was a respected and a generous Sayid (Muhammad’s descendant). It is mentioned that the tomb was constructed in the beginning of XIX century. This tomb was reconstructed in 1995. According to village inhabitants, Sayyid Karim was from the Prophet’s generation.
