Shakir agha tomb was built by İbrahim Shirvanshakh’s vizier for his son in 1427; people call this tomb “mansion”. The tomb has a salon with a cupola and a facade with the main arch. It has been built with white stone, what is characteristic for Abesheron architecture. Once this tomb was defined as a religious monument and destroyed by communist robbers. Gold was found from its foundation during the excavation works held here in 1976. In that time, big pitcher filled with gold was buried in the foundation stone of such monuments during the construction works, served for future repair works. The tomb was reconstructed with the use of small part of the found gold.
