Sheikh Yunis Imra tomb – Yunus Amra was born in the place where Porsug river comes into Sanarya - Sarfi village in 1238 year. He has been the member of Movlana Jalaladdin Rumini’s meetings. He had visited most villages of Anadolu, Azerbaijan and Sham (at present Damask). Yunus Amra was buried at oghuz cemetery in Onjaly village of Gakh region. Every year in May Yunus Amra days are being held in one of the most beautiful cities of Turke – Eskisehir. Haji Tapdyg and Sheikh Yunis Imra tomb was constructed above the tombs of remarkable persons at the cemetery located in the forest in Onjally village of Gakh region. The cemetery is known as Oghuz cemetery among the local people. The most ancient of Yunus Amra tombs’ is located at Oghuz cemetery in Onjaly village of Gakh region. Yuns Amra’s teacher – Hajy Tapdyg’s tomb is also here. This tomb is the only one tomb where Yunus Amra was buried with his teacher. One of the stone inscriptions above the tomb had been lost later on. Thanking to the photographs of Mashadikhanym Nematova, who had investigated the epigraphic monuments in the ends of 1980 year and taken the photos of tombstones scripts, the people are informed about who was buried in those tombs. According to M.Nematova, Yunus Amra after travelling all the provinces in Azerbaijan and at last settled in Onjaly village of Gakh region. The reason which brought Sufi Yunus Amra to Gakh region was that Islam religion was propagated among Gypchag Turks idolizing Shaman religion. English orientalist Spenser writes, that spreading of Islam among the migrant Turkish families was connected with the Sufi dervishs, and especially – with the activities of ashugs, and Yunus Amra’s name is among these poets. It is supposed, that Sheikh Yunus, settled down in Onjaly, lived here till the end if his life. And after death he was buried near his teacher Sheikh Tapdyg’s tomb. The above mentioned tombs are considered sacred and are being visited. Both tombs have been surrounded with the masonry build with the river-bed stones on 1 metre height from the earth. It becomes clear from the inscriptions that Sheikh Yunis tomb’s cover was constructed approximately in 1400 year by Mirza Chalabi Soltan ibn Mohammad ibn Mohammad Zaman ibn Imam Ali, and Hajy Tapdyg tomb’s cover – in 1786 year by Sheikh Mirza Chalabi and Sheikh Salman ibn Saleh. As the tombs were exposed to destroying by different reasons, the followers have to renovate the inscriptions from time to time. May be that was the inaccuracy of the followers renovating the inscriptions, that there is 400 years difference between the construction of the tombs of two persons living in the same period. Tapdyg baba and Sheikh Yunis sanctuary has been one of the largest social-ideological centers, carrying out activity at the international karvan-trade road.
