Shykhmahmud nekropolis – It is the archeological memorial concerning to the ancient period near Shykhmahmud village of Babak region. It was found accidentally during the farm works in 1989 year. The ashes leavings and clay dishes pieces have been found in the dig ravine. He skeleton with its head to the south and lying on its right side, folded up, was directed from the north to the south. 78 pieces of dark-blue colored glass beads were found in here. 4 glass cases (pink, green, blue) have been brought to life from the tombs in Shykhmahmud necropolis. Gathered materials were transferred to Nakhchyvan History Regional Ethnpgraphy. According to the findings Shykhmahmud necropolis concerns to I-III centuries.
