The cemetery «Maliki Ibrahim» – the Cemetery is located at the foot of mountain Garadag in the upper part of Ordubad city and occupies the space in the size of 2 hectares. Here there is a building of a mosque and the big cemetery laying to the south. In Malik Ibrahim there is a center – a dwelling place of sufis whose leader was Sheikh Abu Said who was engaged in distribution of the doctrine of Abu Said Abulhejr in Ordubad region. No epigraphic document, explaining why the cemetery began to be called as Maliki Ibragim, exists. Till now in written sources there are no data on it. However the research, made on the cemetery about thirty years ago on purpose to establish why it is considered sacred and is a pilgrimage place, had shown that for some reason it is visited incorrectly – instead of other place. From inscriptions in the Arabian language, made on marble gravestone of a considered sacred tomb, it becomes known that Magomed bey, son of Farruhzad bey who died in loonar 962 year (1554-1555) was buried here. However, next to the tomb there is one more tombstone. On it there is an inscription in the Arabian language, handwritten in suls, informing about Sheikh Abu Said – one of seven younger children of the founder of the Sufism, well-known Abu Said Abulhejra. It is possible to consider as calligraphers of the monument masters Najmaddin and Haji Panah, who are mentioned on the brink of a tombstone. Considering that the name of architect Muhammad ibn Haji was also mentioned, it is possible to assert that once over the tomb of Sheikh Abu Said there was a mausoleum building.
