Haji Zeynla BathhouseHaji Zeynal Bathhouse located on chieftain Mashadi Agil street in Kurdakhani, one of the oldest villages of Baku is a historical monument dating back to XVII century. Haji Zeynal Bathhouse is consisted of vestibule, dressing hall, middle chamber, bathing hall with private rooms, pond with hot and cold water reservoirs, and an ash chamber with furnace. The bathhouse has two cupolas. The entrance of the bathhouse is arch-shaped. Dressing section of the bathhouse is a hall with complicated and quite expressive composition. Bathing section is identical to dressing section and is connected to pond with hot and cold water. The furnace of the bathhouse is isolated and one can enter here from the outside of the building. In general, local architectural and constructive shapes and styles are nicely expressed in the interior of the bathhouse. The bathhouse served one day a week to men, the rest of the week to women. It was functional up to 70s of the last century.
