The bathhouse was built in the 18th century by a resident of Shamakhi Haji Aga Mikayil in the
southwestern part of Icheri Sheher, on the main street Kichik Gala. The territory on which the
bathhouse is located is called the street of bathhouse attendants in the language of folk etymology. The
entrance to the bathhouse is located on Kichik Gala street. The interior of the rooms differs from other
bathhouses in its design. Dressing and bathing rooms are square. The rooms make up a large
composition thanks to the four central pillars. The architectural composition of the bathroom is
presented in proportional crossed arches and domes. The attractive size of the domes, made according
to the new architectural form on a rigid facade and stone, form the basis of the bath. The bath has a
chimney of a peculiar shape, which looks like a bold silhouette on the roof. The monument was included
in the southeast property system of the city as an active public building.
