All the streets of Shusha city go down and up, but only three streets are stretched diametrically and therefore are flat streets. These are Rastbazar, Sheytanbazar and Merdinli streets. Meydan is the central trade complex of Shusha city. Three trade street of Shusha branches out from this Meydan square: Rasta bazar to north, Ashaqi bazar to the east, Sheytan bazar to south. There are many shops, basic religious buildings, Caravanserai of Shusha and trade squares settled in these trading streets. Rastbazar is the largest street of these three streets. There are clothes, shoe, shoemaker, tailor, butcher, vegetable and fruit stores and shops in the street of Rastbazar. This place was the only trading centre of the city. The place where the Rastbazar street would begin was called Bazarbashi (because the market started from here) and there was a big squeare at the end of this street. This area between the Juma Mosque which was restored by Govhar Aga and the Central market was called Meydan. This area was wide, therefore it was called Meydan.
