President Ilham Aliyev participated in the opening of the park named after famous ophthalmologist and scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva. President Ilham Aliyev cut the ribbon that symbolizes the opening of the park. In the 6.5 hectares of the park territory, nationality and modernity have been united in a very well matched way. A café, sweeties house, sport complex, tea house for elders, restaurant, disco, an excellent scene for concert and entertaining programs have been created here. There are 7 artificial lakes, fountain pools, nice springs in this beautiful park. More than 10 thousand flower bushes and trees have been planted in the park. The park looks especially mysterious at nighttime and creates rich impression. This amusement park with all kinds of conditions created for resting of the inhabitants meets modern standards. For efficient use of young people’s the leisure time, interesting programs are organized. Seesaws and merry-go-rounds have been placed for children. There are football, volleyball, basketball fields, and sport salons in the complex. Region important competitions will be held here in future.
