President Ilham Aliyev participated in the opening of the amusement park named after Heydar Aliyev in Saatly in September 2008; the Great Leader’s monument was raised here. The total area of the park is 5.6 hectares. All conditions for rest of the population had been created in the park. Heydar Aliyev Museum built in the national architecture style, the building of the New Azerbaijan Party organization of the region, and picture gallery are located in the territory of the park. National flag flutters here in 15 meter height. Wide-screen monitor had been placed in the park. Videos reflecting national leader Heydar Aliyev’s works for the sake of Azerbaijan development, videos reflecting the development of Saatly and the whole country are shown here. Children’s amusement centre that is being built in the park will provide kids with efficient rest. Fountains mounted here add beauty to the park. Objects of different services have been organized in the park. Special places were built with the purpose of providing efficient rest of the population; comfortable seats were put, decorative trees were planted, modern lightening system was made here.
