Park named after Samir KhasiyevMartyr Samir Khasiyev was born in 1973 in Baku. In 1992, in response to the call of the motherland, Samir voluntarily went to the front, after short-term trainings in Salyan, headed to Karabakh, to the battle zones. Samir’s first battle against Armenian invaders was in Marzili village of Aghdam rayon. In 1993, he joined the battles in Fizuli, Aghdam and Aghdara against the enemies. He was awarded the highest title – “National Hero of Azerbaijan”. Former Montin Culture and Rest Park in Narimanov district was named after Samir.
