Jinly Castle (Gakh) - The castle is located on the right of the highway going to Ilisu village on the left bank of Kurmukchay (river). Just 5 km far from Ilisu village, it is erected on a rock. The valley near which the castle is located is called Gala valley among the local people. It is estimated to be built about the 7th and 9th centuries. Built on the protuberance of the rock, the castle has kept its integrity. This fortification consists of watch-towers and walls. There are shot loop-holes on the walls and watch towers for using weapons and observing surroundings. It has been built from river stones and burnt bricks.
