This tower is situated in one of the mountain slopes of North Azerbaijan, in the 20 km South-West of Shaki city, in Aydinbulag village. The tower was used as an observation post in the common defence buildings of Gabala region in former times. The structure of the stature of the tower has been quadrangular. But the currently saved parts are the North and East walls with round head, round projections.
The projections have been timbered with counterforces, piers. The length of each side of the residues of the building is 8.8 metres. As it is seen from the dikes on the East wall of the tower, the interior has been divided into three tiers in former times. That is to say, the tower has been three-storey from inside.
Currently none of the storeys exist. The logholes remained on the level of covers among the floors in the tiers show that the covers have been flat from the structural-constructive aspect and have been from thick wood. The appearance of the outside cover of the tower is unknown and the investigators do not tell any exact opinion about it.
In the current destructed situation the height of the tower is 10.5 m, the first floor 4 m, the second 2.8 m, and the third floor 2.6 metres. The thickness of the wall is 1.2 metr in the lower side, and 80 cm in the upper. The lower diameter of the corner towers of the castle is 1.4m, and the upper diameter is 1.2 metr. The door place has been from the Eastern side. There are narrow window places opened for observation in the upper floors. Probably, the ventlights opened for the control of the surroundings have been in all the four walls of the castle. It is hard to say how they ascended the upper floors. But they ascended the upper floors with a ladder in some of the similar fortifications built in Dagistan, and the ladder was taken in dangerous situations. So, it can be supposed that the ladder was used also here.
