Bazakli fortress II - The archaeological monument to the NW from the village settlement not far from Grabaghlar, Kangarli r. The fortress is situated on the mountain naturally to be defended. Strategically suitable. The area the fortress is situated has been surrounded with natural rocks from the west and north sides. On the east and south sides defended weakly, a thick wall of stone was built. The area on the rock to the north end of the fortress played the role of Naringala. The remnants of square formed houses are seen here. The investigations show that the houses inside the fortress were built joining the main defense wall. During investigation the ceramic samples of pinky and grey colour about the Bronze Age were discovered. Some of pinky ceramic samples were deco- rated with black colour. This type of ceramics are characteristic to the Bronze Age of Nakhchivan. The monument may be related to 3-2 millennium.
