Eastern Platan (Dada Gorqud square) - Dada Gorqud square is the favorite rest place for Zagatala population. Built in 1946, "Gala Dyuzu" stairs of 128 steps is also located in this territory. There is another marvel of nature - 750-years-old plane tree here. This aged beautiful decorative platan sheds its golden leaves in the autumn and can firmly resist against drought, dampness, illnesses and pest. As it is numerous and rare, the tree has been included in the "Red Book" of the Azerbaijan Republic. It has 370 cm diameter and 35 m height. The tree is approximately 750 years old.
