Nizami Square and Monument - Square named after genius Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavy was established on the starting point of Nizami street in 2007. Length of the square is 188 meters and total area of which amounts 6300 sqm. There are containers, decorative trees, modern seats, and modern lightening system in the square. Nizami Ganjavy"s monument has been raised in the center of the square. The designer of the bronze statue of 3.9 meters high is well-known sculptor Isa Mammadkhanov.
