Heydar Aliyev StatueHeydar Aliyev Statue was erected on May 10, 2005 in front of Heydar Aliyev Palace in Baku. The statue is regarded as one of the most beautiful monumental sculptural examples of modern times. The authors of the statue, Mikhail Nogin and Salavat Shorlanov carried out intensive creative researches on the work. The height of the statue is 5.2 meters, the weight is 2.4 tons. The statue is cast in bronze.
