The statue of Laborer“Baku Laborer” statue, the symbol of USSR in Baku was erected in 50s of the last century on former "Laborer", today’s Nobel Avenue. The statue was the most visited monument of the capital city and ceremonies were held in front of it. On May 14, 2013, “Baku Laborer” statue was removed from Nobel Avenue and put near the “Azerneftyagh” Production Union owned by SOCAR, at the intersection of Mikayil Aliyev and Rustamov streets in the territory of Nizami district.
