Hazi Ehed Aslanov was born in Talish family in Germetuk village of Lankon region on January 22, 1910. He was executed in 1945. Twice, he had been awarded with the name of Hero of the Soviet Union. His big statue was placed in the centre of Lankaran city on May 8, 1983. The height of the statue is more than 6 meters.
