Lajat village Mosque – The Mosque has been constructed in the Lajat village of the Khachmaz district in 1355 by hijra-lunar calendar (beginning of the XX century). Having octagonal external view this Mosque’s walls have been built with the river-bed stones (the bottom part) and with the air-brick (the upper part). Its walls and facade have been plastered with the adobe mixture. The ceiling and the floor are wooden. The roof is covered with the slate, and the cupola is covered with the iron layer. The Mosque has one door and five windows. The door and the windows are right-angled. The height of the ceiling from the floor is 5 metres. The roof is placed on four wooden columns. The sanctuary has been inside the wall, there are different ornaments on it.
