The mosque is situated in Narajan village of Khachmaz city. It was restored in 1333 year by the hijra-lunar calendar (beginning of the XX century). There is not exact information about its primary date. Its yard side area is 500 square metres, and inside area is 10x12 metres. Narajan village mosque has the right-angled form. Its walls have been built with the air-brick. Its roof has been covered with the iron layer. The mosque has the earthen floor and the wooden ceiling. The height of the ceiling from the floor is 4 metres, and the height of the cupola is 4 metres. The sanctuary is simple and its height is 2 metres. Narajan village mosque has been burned by the Armenians in the beginning of the century. Later on the repair-restoration works have been carried out in here by the means of the public.
Another mosque has been built near to this mosque in 1995 year by the Azerbaijan branch of the Kuwait society of Revival Heritage of Islam. And so, the old mosque is used as the religious school.
