Museyi-Kazim mosque – is located in Ashagi block of Shagan village of Baku city. It has been built in late XIX century. The backyard is 100 sq.metres, the inside area is 12x14 meters. The walls of the mosque have been built from flagstones. The dome has also been built from stone and plastered with sand-cement solution. The roof has been covered with tar. The floor has been laid with stone sheet. The height from the floor to the ceiling is 6 meters, and to the dome is 9 meters. The diameter of the dome is 3 meters. 3 windows have been installed in the dome. The alter has been laid with hewn stones and the height is 2,5 meters. Museyi-Kazim mosque of Shagan village has been used as a warehouse from 1937 to 1994. Later on reconstruction works have been carried out with the initiative and at the cost of the village people here. Though all this, the mosque has preserved its primary shape.
