The Mosque is located in Zabrat village of Baku. It has been constructed in XIX century. Inner area is 12x15.5 meters. Zabrat village Mosque has been built of cut cubic stone. Backyard area has been covered by stone flags. The thickness of the walls is one meter. The floor of the Mosque is also covered by stone flags. An impressive window is made in the main prayer hall. The sanctuary is made of cut stones and put in the central part. The pulpit has eight steps and is made of wood. Woman’s department of the Mosque has been separated from the man’s department with a wooden fence. The ceiling is standing on four columns. The columns are connected to each other with twelve arches. The height from the floor until the ceiling is 7 meters; the height from the floor until the till the cupola is 11 meters. The diameter of the cupola is 4.5 meters; there were eight windows put in it. Several inscriptions had been carved in several places of the Mosque. One of the inscriptions gives information about the Mosque history. This Mosque has been built by Haji Tagi, an inhabitant of local village. This place has been used as a storehouse, a factory, savings bank and for other purposes in Soviet times. Its activity had been restored in 1990; after repair, it acquired a prosperous condition.
