Badoyun Mosque is located in Badoyun district of Ismailly region. The construction date is 1295 (XIX century) according to Islamic calendar. The inner area is 16x16 meters.

The Mosque was built with riverbed stones only. The roof and the cupola have been covered with white iron plates. Stone inscriptions were carved above and on the sides of the Mosque entrance. The floor and the ceiling is made of wood. The ceiling has right-angled form; it stands on six wooden columns. The cupola is on the facade side of the Mosque. The pulpit has five steps and is made of wood. The women’s section is on the second floor. The thickness of the Mosque walls is 70-80 cm. They height from the floor up to the ceiling is five meters. All doors and windows were made of wood. The worship hall was ornamented with light blue color. The grave of one of former akhunds is in the room on the left side of the Mosque entrance.

The Mosque was built by Haji Gurban. The Mosque building was used as a carpet manufactory in Soviets time. The activity of the Mosque was restored in 1990. Repair works have been carried out here later on. However, the repair works were not completed. New repairs started in the Mosque in 1997. This work has been implemented at the expense of the offerings gathered in the Mosque.
