Zavaro mosque – is situated in Zavaro block of Lahij settlement of Ismayilli region and was built in 1805.

The mosque has been built by local people and has preserved its primary appearance. The form of the mosque is quadrangular. It has been built of riverstone. The minaret has been laid with white iron sheet. The minaret is based on the roof and the height of it is 5 metres. The mosque has been built on the pavement with the height of 1 metre. Stone inscriptions have been engraved on the side of the entrance door –on the wall. The roofing is of white iron sheet.

The mosque has been used as a house of culture during the Soviet time. The house of culture was cancelled in late 1980 and the mosque was repaired.
