The Mosque is in Balakhany village of Baku. The area of the main worship hall is 16x11 meters; the area of the women section is 11x9 meters. The backyard area is buried in verdure. The Mosque building and the yard was put in nice order. The yard is covered with stone plates. There was no minaret in the initial version of the Juma Mosque of Balakhany village. The present-day minaret is built with cut stone flags and has been raised in 1995-1996. The sections for men and women in the Mosque are separated by ornamented wooden grid. The sanctuary was decorated with nabati ornament and eight-pointed stars. The pulpit was made of wood in 1994. Ayahs from "Fatiha" and "Bagara" surahs have been written on the walls of the main worship hall. The date of 1290 (seventieth of the XIX century) was carved on the stone inscription preserved in the inside of the Mosque. This Mosque had been functioning as a House of Culture in 1937-1989. Its activity has been restored since 1989.
