Mosque "Kolani"

The Mosque was built in Kolany village of Shahbuz region. The foundation was laid in 1991. The area of the worship hall of the ground floor is 12x13 meters; the area of the worship hall of the first floor is 9x7 meters. The Sahibazzaman Mosque was built in square form and has two floors. The ground floor is intended for men, the first floor – for women. The building of the Mosque was built with cubical and riverbed stones. It was plastered with alabaster from the inside. The roof and the cupola were covered with iron layer. There are two meter high little minarets put over the Mosque on its four sides. There are 2 doors and 4 windows on the ground floor, and a door and 10 windows on the first floor. There is no cupola and no sanctuary in the inside of the Mosque. The pulpit has seven steps; it was built with red bricks. There are two round minarets raised on right and left sides of the Mosque entrance. The height of the minarets is 12 meters. The Sahibazzaman Mosque was built with the initiative of village inhabitant Aziz Sadigoglu at the expense of local people. Its master was master Kheyrulla.
