Mosque "Juma" in Gala

The Mosque is located in the Ashaghi quarter of Gala village. It was constructed in 1329 according to Islamic calendar (beginning of XX century). The background area is 800 square meters; the area of the worship hall is 12x12 meters.

A stone inscription reflecting its construction date was carved above the entrance of the Juma Mosque of Gala village. A corridor goes inside from the entrance. The main worship hall is on the left side of the corridor. The height from the floor up to the ceiling is 7 meters; the height up to the cupola is 12 meters. The ceiling and the cupola are standing on four big columns. The columns are connected to each other with arches. There are eight windows in the cupola. There are six windows in the main worship hall. The upper part of the windows has round form. There is a stone inscription on the sanctuary (the height is 3.5 meters). The pulpit has seven steps; it was made of wood.

The Juma Mosque of Gala village is divided into sections for man and women.
