Zira village juma mosque – The mosque is situated in Zira village of Baku. In the back side of the mosque’s building there is the inscription between the door and the window, where the mosque’s construction date (1296 year by the hijra-lunar calendar, XIX century) and the name of the master have been scrapped. Just like the most of the mosques, it was closed for a while during the Soviet period and later on was used as the club. In 1990-1992 years the reconstruction works have been carried out in here and the new buildings have been added.
