Jalilbad town juma mosque – The mosque is located in the centre of Jalilabad region. It was constructed in the beginning of the XX century. In 1988 year it was destroyed and re-constructed again with the initiative of the public. Its yard side area is 1400 square metres. Its inside area is 17x36 metres. The local inhabitants took an active part in restoration of Jalilbad town juma mosque. The state institutions have also rendered assistance to these works. Its yard side area has been enclosed with the fence made of saw stones. The mosque’s building has been worked out with the burnt bricks. The veranda with the area of 4x36 metres was placed in front of the entrance doors. The veranda has been worked out with the bricks brought from Iran. It has the single minaret. Its floor is made of burnt brick. Its height from the floor till the ceiling is 5,5 metres. Its ceiling has the right-angled form; it is placed on the wooden column. The sanctuary has the arched form and it’s height is 3 metres. The praying hall consists of two sections (for the women and for the men). The women section is two-storey.
