Saltaq Mosque is located in Saltaq village of Julfa district. Its primary history is not exactly known. Its inner area is 12x15 meters.
The Saltaq Mosque has two floors. The first floor has veranda form; it is intended for women. The ceiling is made of wood; earth floor is covered with alabaster. Its height from the floor up to the ceiling is 5 meters. The ceiling is standing on 7 columns.
Reconstruction-restoration works have been carried out in this Mosque in 1991. The roofing had been replaced completely and new minaret (15 meters high) had been raised. These works had been implemented at people’s expense.
