The foundation of the Mosque located in Jamaldin village of Julfa region was laid in XIX century. The area of the main worship hall is 15x10 meters. The walls of the Jamaldin village Mosque have been built with riverbed stone and plastered with gaja (alabaster-like material). The thickness of the walls of the Jamaldin village Mosque is 1.20 meter. The Mosque has been divided into departments for man and woman. The roof has been covered with slate. The ceiling is standing on two columns. There is a glassed gallery in the facade part of the Mosque. The Jamaldin village Mosque has 14-meter high minaret.
As the Mosque building was in very ruined state, reconstruction-restoration works have been carried out here in 1987-1990. The Mosque had been used as a fertilizer storehouse in the Soviets time.
