Haji Salim mosque of Bina village – is in the center of Bina village of Baku. The exact date of construction is not known. That is, one of the existing inscriptions mention 1299th year (XIX century), the other 1333th year (XX century) by Islamic calendar. The inside area is 14x15 meters. Haji Salim mosque of Bina village has been built in a specific architectural style. That is, the walls play the role of a column here. The dome stands on the walls. The height from the floor to the ceiling is 19 meters. The diameter of the dome is 14 meters. 16 around windows have been installed here. There are eight arch-form windows in the praying hall, too. The pulpit of the mosque is seven-stepped, and has been made of stone. 1330th year (early XX century) by Islamic calendar has been written on the pulpit. The master of the pulpit is Sadig. The alter has been laid with hewn flagstones and the height is 6 meters. And the upper part of the alter has been laid with stalactites. Haji Salim mosque of Bina village consists of two stores. The first floor is for women and the area of it is 40 square meters. There is a place for women on the ground floor as well. Haji Salim mosque of Bina village has been built by Salim Movsumov and is named after him.
