Mosque was opened in August, 2009. Purpose of the new mosque in Sharur is to serve to increase people"s morality and to propagate Quran without prejudice. Mosque consists of 3 floors including basement. There are 2 halls and 2 kitchens in the basement of the building for giving funeral repast and holding the mourning ceremonies. Halls are equipped by new furniture and kitchen inventory. Top of the completive decorative elements, the cupol and top of minarets of the Mosque have been made from lead and latun. Minarets, which are 30 m high, have sound and night lightening system.
