Haji Huseyngulu Mosque (Ganza) – The Mosque has been constructed in Ganza village of Ordubad. Its date belongs to IX century by h.l. calendar. The previous part of the Mosque was 12x10 metres; its height was 3 metres. There were 3 columns and twelve rooms in this part. The thickness of the walls was 1 metre. Four of the six sections here were square, and two - were cupola shaped.As the addition to the primary part of the Mosque the second part had been constructed. Its area is 8x10 metres, and height is 4 metres. As they say, this new section was built in the beginning of the century. The new constructed section differs from the previous one very much. The first part was constructed with the lime, egg mixture and river-bed stones. And the second part was built with the air-brick. The walls in the whole Mosque have been worked out with the wood (bottom sides) and with alabaster (upper sides). Ayats from Quran in Arabic have been written on the walls.There have been made five niches inside of Haji Huseyngulu Mosque. There is the veranda on the facade side of the Mosque’s entrance. The veranda consists of twelve niches. There is also guests’ room attached to Haji Huseyngulu Mosque. It is intended for the Mosque visitors. 500 square metres of additional lands have been presented to the Haji Huseyngulu Mosque by Aliakbar Rzagulu.
