New Surakhany district juma mosque – The mosque is situated in New Surakhany district of Baku. Its foundation was put in 1992 year. Its yard side area is 2000 square metres, and the main praying hall’s area is 14x14 metres. The mosque was built with the cubic stones and was covered with the shaved facing stones. Its minaret (with the height of about 25 metres) was built and faced with the cubic stones. The mosque’s project was prepared by the Azerbaijan Project Institute. The mosque was constructed by the initiative of respected persons and means of local inhabitants. The construction works in here have been carried out by the different construction companies, and the executor was master Ibrahimov.
