Jorat village Juma Mosque – The Mosque is situated in Jorat village of Sumgayit. It was constructed in 409 year by h.l. calendar. The walls of Mosque have been constructed with the slab stones. The praying hall consists of 4 arches. The arches are joined with each other in the cupola. Diameter of the cupola is 5 metres. There are 4 right-angled windows in the cupola. The mosque’s construction is simple. It was used as the storehouse in 1937-76 years. The place of the Mosque’s settlement has been the cemetery formerly. At present the houses are built in here.
