Goytepe mosque (Jalilabada district) – The mosque is situated in the centre of Jalilabad district. It was constructed in 1992 year. Its yard side area is 10000 square metres, and inside area is 30x30 metres. Jalilabad district Goytepe mosque’s main building was built with the cunic stones. There are three arches in front of the entrance door. The arches were built with the burnt bricks. The mosque was built with the initiative of the local inhabitant Haji Sardar Mashadi Asgar (died in 1993 year). The masters were Atababa Isayev, Jumshud Aghayev and Khosrov Guliyev. The black board was put on the right side of the entrance door, and the name of Haji Sardar, who headed the construction works, was scrapped on it. There is the veranda in front of the entrance door. Its floor is made of stone slabs, and the ceiling is wooden. The minarets’ height is 23 metres. The minarets are round and completely made of white burnt bricks. The roof is covered with the white iron layer. The floor is made of red burnt bricks, and the ceiling is wooden. The height of the ceiling is 7 metres. The pulpit is wooden, and the sanctuary is built with the burnt bricks. The mosque has got two main entrance doors (there is also one additional entrance door). The doors are made of wood.
