Yerkuj village Mosque – The Mosque has been constructed in 1910 year in Yerkuj village of Khachmaz district. Inside area is 5x10 metres. Yerkuj village Mosque has the right—angle form and its walls are built with the river-bed stones. Thickness of the walls is 0,50 metres. Its roof and cupola are covered with white iron layer. Facade side of the Mosque has been plastered with adobe mixture and inside it’s plastered with cement solution. It has one entrance door and two arch type windows. There is veranda at the entrance door. Its area is 5x2,3 metres. The Mosque’s height from the floor till the ceiling is 3,5 metres.Though the history of this village comes to 722 year, there are not ancient mosques in here. The present-day mosque has been reconstructed three times – in 1520, 1955 and 1991 years.
