The Juma Mosque of Mashtaga village – is in the central part of Mashtaga village. It was built in 1129th year by Islamic calendar. The inside area is 20x17 metres. The Juma Mosque of Mashtaga village consists of two parts-men’s and women’s section. Women’s section is two-storey and the area of each storey is 16x8 metres. The ceiling stands on 20 stone columns. The columns have been connected with arches. The diameter of the dome is 3,5 metres. Eight windows have been installed in the dome. The mosque has two entrance doors and seven large windows. The alter has a simple form and is inside of the wall. The pulpit is wooden and seven-stepped. The floor has been laid with marble. The height of the minaret is 46 metres. It has been built with hewn flagstones and stone sheet. The previous minaret of the mosque was destroyed in 1936. An open veranda is located in front of the mosque. Inscriptions have been engraved here. This mosque has remained closed for a while during the Soviet period, and continued its activity during other remaining times.
