Gala Museum of Antiquities – It was founded in the territory of Gala State Historical and Ethnographical Reserve by Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Construction of the museum started in June, 2010 and finished in 2011. President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation participated at the opening ceremony of the museum on September 7, 2011. 800 artifacts are demonstrated at Gala Museum of Antiquities. On the first and second floors of the three-storey building, mainly various pearls of decorative-applied arts that were made by the people of Azerbaijan through the centuries, on the third floor artifacts collected from different regions of Azerbaijan that were produced in USA, Germany, Austria, Russia, France, England, Belgium, Iran, Uzbekistan, Poland, Turkey and many other countries and used in domestic life by the people of Azerbaijan since ancient times are demonstrated.There are a conference hall, administrative rooms, a souvenir section and repair workshop on the first floor of the building.
