Zira Carpet Museum was built in a special museum format. The Carpet Museum displays important exhibits for more than 150 years of history: centuries-old carpets, embroideries, rugs from schools of Baku, Guba, Shirvan, Ganja, Gazakh-Borchaly, Karabakh, Nakhchivan, Irevan and Tabriz. There are automatic hanging systems for carpets and embroideries as well. The museum is equipped with a special electronic information system. Here is a description of each carpet in Azerbaijani and English languages.
