Khyzy history-etnography museum - The president of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev took part in the opening ceremony of Khyzy history-ethnography museum on August 22, 2008.300 exhibits have been gathered in the museum. Ancient weapons, examples of folklore art, agricultural tools, musical instruments, and daily life things are among the archaeological findings that involve attention and inform us about the ancient history of Khyzy. Miniature model of the house, where Khyzy born, famous Azerbaijani writer and dramatist Jafar Jabbarly once lived, is also exhibited in the museum. The inhabitants contribute to the newly established museum with various historical things and findings. This region, as it bears the name of prophet Khyzyr, is considered one of the holy corners of Azerbaijan.
