Hasan bey Zardabi’s museum – Born in Zardab village of Goychay city, Hasan bey Zardabi is the greatest thinker, naturalist-scientist, talented publicist and founder of the Azerbaijan press. And now there is one address, named after this great genius, carrying out activity in Zardab. H. Zardabi’s museum. On the initiative of the region government and the tourism department, personal belongings of the great thinker’s family and relatives are collected in this museum, founded in 2005 year. Even home things, used by Zardabi’s family at very ancient times, are preserved here. Both from historical view point and because of belonging to Zardabis, things mentioned below attract attention: comb of spinning wheel, wool, ghuyum, churn, samovar etc. Zardabi’s manuscripts and a few copies of his newspaper “Akinchi” are also preserved in the museum. Including, the pictures of Zardabi’s family and his near relations array the walls. There is Zardabi’s monument in the yard of the museum. People who come here put the flower bunches in front of the great person’s bust and then enter the museum. There is an ancient lamp among the exhibits in here. They say, that for long years Zardabi has written the articles for “Akinchi” under the light dropped by this lamp. Also, pictures and documents, representing Zardabi’s life and activities are collected in here.
