Cultural and Charitable Foundation named after Vagif MustafazadeCultural and Charitable Foundation named after Vagif Mustafazade was founded by his cousin Afag Aliyeva in 1997 in order popularize the legacy and continue creative tradition of Vagif Mustafazade and help young musicians of Azerbaijan. Every year the foundation holds memorial night of Vagif Mustafazade. These ceremonies are held in House-Museum of Vagif Mustafazade, Jazz Club named after Vagif Mustafazade, Baku Jazz Center. The foundation has released CDs of recorded and unrecorded compositions of Vagif Mustafazade. So in 1999 “RAKS-BAKI” studio released the selection of famous compositions of Vagif Mustafazade and in 2004 in collaboration with UNICAL company, an album consisted of 6 CDs of compositions of eminent musician was released. “Yollar” (Roads) album released by the foundation included previously unreleased compositions of Vagif Mustafazade and interviews with him. The foundation has done a lot of work in order to support young jazz musicians of Azerbaijan. The foundation always cooperates with well-known cultural and art workers of Azerbaijan.
