The Abu Said Abulkheyr centre propagating Abu Said Abulkheyr’s ideas is lead by Sheikh Abu Said and is located in Sufi place for dervishes Malik Ibrahim. The "Malik Ibrahim sacred place" and "Gara pir (black sacred place)" are located in the east side of Ordubad city, at the foot of Gara Mountain. There is a mosque building and a big cemetery stretched towards the South. Its area is approximately 2 hectares. It is still used.
There is no epigraphic document explaining the reason of calling the cemetery “Malik Ibrahim”. No information has been found in different sources about this. However, the investigation carried out in the cemetery thirty years ago studied the reason of this place being a pilgrimage and a holy place; the results showed that today’s pilgrimage place was some why chosen mistakenly. From Arabic writings on the marble box put over the grave considered holy, it becomes clear that Mahammad bey, the son of Farrukhzad bey was buried here in 962 according to Hijri calendar (1554-1555). However, there is another tombstones located in a distance from the tomb. There is an inscription on the grave with suls script Arabic writing; it provides information about Sheikh Abu Said, which is the seventh ancestor of Abu Said Abulkheyr, known founder of Sufism:
"In the name of kind and merciful Allah. This grave belongs to people’s Sufi teacher, the example of people knowing the truth, the crown of the world and the religion, sheikh ul Islam, the seventh ancestor of Abu Said Abulkheyr from Khorasan, known as Sheikh Abu Said (may God make his dear spirit holy). The death date is 759 according to Hijri calendar, 8th of month meherrem, Thursday, afternoon (21.XII.1357). Abu Said moved out from this narrow world. He joined the spirit of his great grandfather in paradise. This is the work of master Nejmeddin ibn master Haji Panakhly. The architect Mahammad bey ibn Haji asks for help in prayer”.
Master Nejmeddin and master Haji Panakhly mentioned in the edge of the gravestone could be considered the calligraphers of the monument. Since architect Mahammad bey ibn Haji was mentioned, it could be said that there was a tomb over Sheikh Abu Said’s grave. However, there is no remains of the tomb. The the inscription provides complete information about Abu Said, a Sufi sheikh, a descendant and a follower of famous Sufi founder Abu Said from Khorasan. There is no doubt that there was Abu Said’s dervishes cloister in this place located on ancient trading caravan road.
Main part of "Gara pir" building was built into natural rock. Only a part of the main facade was a building (6.0x2,5x2,0). With the purpose of earning sympathy, it was written in Persian on the door, that the construction of this honorable and great building had been completed on Friday, on 2nd of al-akhir month with the effort of Haji Zeynalabdin, the son of deceased Haji Aghajan Ordubadi in 1264 according to Hijri calendar (6.V.1848).
