Clock tower, Oil-workersBaku"s famous "Clock Tower" has functioned as the "Parachute Tower" yet in the 30s of the last century. But in the 60s, the parachute jumps were discontinued. The tower was used as a device showing the time, temperature, and wind velocity. In 2012, during the reconstruction works in the National Seaside Park, the "Clock Tower" was restored and has obtained more modern appearance now. New electronic information display board attached to the tower displays weather, humidity, time, and wind-speed. The display board can possibly show the latest updates, too.
